What types of storage units does Room 4 U offer?
Warehouses, hobby rooms, studios, offices, workshops, garages.
What can I store in a storage unit at Room4U?
Furniture, memorabilia, files, goods, collections, materials, etc. - everything except hazardous goods.
How big are the available rooms and how do I find the right size for my needs?
4m² to 64m² - Viewings and consultations are non-binding and possible on site.
How secure are the storage rooms and offices? Is there video surveillance and access control?
Video surveillance, modern locking systems, access control.
How does access to my room work - do I have access at all times (24/7)?
Access 365 days a year, but building closed from 0.00am to 06.00am. Exit always granted, but access then no longer possible.
What rental period is possible? Can I also rent at short notice or only for a few weeks?
Minimum rental period 4 weeks, notice period 2 weeks to the end of each month. Move-in date at any time.
How do I book and pay for a room?
Online or in person on site. Payment via invoice, card, Twint.
Are the storage rooms, offices and workshops heated or air-conditioned to protect sensitive items?
Standard: dry & clean. Some floors also have heated rooms.
Can I sublet my storage unit or share it with someone else?
Subletting/ subletting is prohibited. Sharing is the responsibility of the contractual user.
What types of vehicles can be parked in the garage spaces (car, motorbike, trailer, etc.)?

How secure are the garages - are they locked or monitored?

Can I rent my garage space permanently or only temporarily (e.g. for the winter)?

How does the cancellation of a garage space or room work? Are there cancellation periods?
Short deadlines, usually 2 weeks.
How flexibly can I change my storage room, bureroom or garage space if I need more or less space?
Yes, very flexible depending on availability.
Is there insurance for stored property or vehicles?
Users have the option to insure through us or otherwise your own insurance.
What payment methods does Room4U accept for room and garage hire?
Invoice, credit card, Twint - no cash
Can I also arrange a consultation or viewing appointment outside office hours?
No - only possible during viewing times.
How clean and well-maintained are the rooms and garage spaces?
Daily checks and daily building cleaning
Are there special offers or discounts for long-term tenants?
No, but there is a discount for multiple rooms. (from 3 rooms)
Can I store dangerous or highly flammable objects in my storage room or workshop?
No, no hazardous or highly flammable substances permitted.
